The so far world’s most expensive nail polish has been unveiled. Retailing for $250,000, the exclusive AZATURE Nail Polish contains 267 carats of black diamonds, assuring that the woman who wears it really is the chicest of them all. Limited to just one bottle, it also makes it a one-of-a-kind item from the world of AZATURE.

In a press release, the designer said that the development of this one-of-a-kind nail polish stemmed from his desire to showcase the “beauty, mystery and sophistication” of black diamonds on women’s nails. “One day I thought, ‘why not showcase this style on nails?’ So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry, in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond,” said Azature.

The lower-priced nail polish, featuring a real black diamond, will be available to consumers at Fred Segal beginning August 2012.
